beginner flamenco shoes, December 10, 2010
these shoes are fine if you're just getting started, but they get a little uncomfortable after a 3 hour bulerias class. if you're vegan or vegetarian, they are a nice alternative, as there is minimal dead animal in their construction. (and that's why they're a little uncomfortable if you're putting in long hours dancing, as they do not stretch and conform to your feet.) Also, the heel is a little higher than you may want for stability while you're stomping and spinning :) decent price though. the really nice ones come from Spain and cost $200+
