After reading some reviews about ballet flats in general being smaller and narrower than true size, I bought a pair of these in 7.5W (my street size is 7N), and they came exactly as described - size 7.5 (so I have room at the back), and so wide that I've had to really tighten the sides with the elastic. Not perfect as it bunches a little on the sides, but still a very comfortable fit and I'm able to dance in them. So my advice would be ideally to go to a dance shop to work out the perfect size for you, but if you're like me and can't get to one, to buy your true size in these particular slippers.

I needed some dance shoes for a bellydancing class I take. I did not wanted to do it bare foot on the gym's dirty floor. The class instructor recommended ballet shoes. I got these and after just one class they comformed to my foot shape really well. I'm a 7.5 medium to wide on street shoes, and 8 medium in gym shoes. I got a 7.5 wide in these shoes, and they were a match!!! The split sole makes them feel like I'm wearing nothing but still I get some protection for my feet because these are made out of leather. I got the pink ones. They look so cute on, and the pink color is very soft.

This shoes is a great and fits really well except it's not quite long enough. I wear the same size (8) in all shoes but this eight was a bit too tight in the toe area. However, it does fit and will stretch out with more use. But overall an excellent purchase for the price.

These shoes are great! When three people suggested them to me (My ballet instructor and two of my classmates) in a row, I decided they would be a safe bet. They fit great, and I haven't had any issues with them

So I read the other reviews that said these run small so I ordered up. I usually wear a 7.5 and I got an 8. They were waaaay to small. I guess I should have gone up an entire size. Luckily there is a dance supply store in my town so I was able ot pick up a different pair there. I will send these back for a refund and stick with my others for now.

My street shoes are a 10.5 so after reading the reviews I bought these ballet shoes in the same size. They are a bit snug at first but after 2 or 3 classes of dancing in them they are beginning to stretch out. They are leather, after all. This is my first ballet class (as an adult) and these shoes work perfectly, although it was kind of difficult to sew the elastic straps on securely by hand. If you are able to use a machine, I would do so. Overall, good value and decent fit, albeit a little snug!

Capezio is famous for their ballet slippers, and I absolutely love these. As a beginner, they really do the trick and it takes me several minutes to adjust to my normal everyday flats after wearing these for an hour or two in class, so comfortable are they. A definite buy! (I listened to the reviews and went up a size...from an 8 to a 9, and they fit my perfectly (although not with my ingrown nail at first...but without it they were perrrfect!)).

These slippers are great as you sew the straps as necessary. I would suggest getting them a half size larger than your street size, though. They fit at street size but are very snug.

My daughter lost one of her ballet shoes so we thought we would give these a try since the price was very reasonable and they could be shipped with prime. The shoes are very comparable to the much more expensive ones she usually buys at the dance store. They also run true to "street" shoe size which is a plus when ordering on-line.
