Over the summer I picked up a pair of pumps for a special occasion. The night turned into a horror show because my feet and legs were in so much pain from the shoes. After that experience I vowed to find the most comfortable pair of pumps in the world. I found the Capezio shoe. They are not super dressy but I'll take comfort over dazzle any day. I don't want to ruin another fun evening out because of a pair of shoes. Thanks Capezio!

I ordered these as stage shoes to replace another non-capezio brand pair. These are very well made and despite the 2 1/2" heel, I stayed comfortable in a 3-hour show. I plan to wear these for performances in the future. I should say that I struggle with shoes fitting well and toe-numbness due to a number of foot conditions. I definitely recommend these for actors, performers and dancers as comfortable stage shoes (and can be fitted with taps if needed).

I made the mistake of buying two pairs of lesser known, cheaper tap shoes on eBay, wasting $40 dollars, I could have put toward a new pair of Capezios. My daughter is a 6W, but was fitted at the original Capezio Store in NYC. She was fitted and bought a 6.5W low heeled pair there, so we knew to buy a half size up from Amazon when we couldn't get back to NYC in time.

As an actress, I have gone thorugh a lot of character shoes, and I could never find the right ones. Laducas make my feet look abnormally tiny compared to my body,and I've tried a lot of difffrent capezios...but they always made my legs look strange cause the heels were too tiny, or they were just uncomfortable to dance/walk in...I ordered a slightly longer heel than this one, and was unable to dance properly in them. These are the perfect height to give your leg an attactive shape, and they are comfortable to dance in! LOVELY. This is my go to shoe from now on.

Here is 5 reasons why I gave this shoe a 5...
1) AMAZING Comfort! Its ridiculous how comfortable they are. I'm a size nine but I prefer a bit more room for my pinky toe, so I chose a 9W and it fit like a charm.
2) Like any other character shoe its sole allows for movement with ease. But these character shoes have a nice almost velvet like sole (leather) that help do great job in smoothing out turns and steps.
3) Beware that the straps a bit thinner than the picture leads on but the heel height (2 1/2) is perfect for those wanting a shoe with a higher heel but are to tall to have it. Did I mention its heel stability is spot on?
4) The packaging it self was very neat and organized.
5) Lastly, the shoes look gorgeous on me feet... and they will on yours too! :)

I normally take a 9.5 W, so I ordered a 10 W and could barely fit my foot in the shoe. The biggest problem was the length of the shoe. My toes had no where to go! The width was more narrow than I expected, but I was more surprised that a size 10 did not come close to being a size 10. It was very disappointing, as this is a beautiful shoe and just what I needed for theatrical purposes. Such a shame.

This shoe is not as pretty in real life as it is in the picture. A bigger problem is the sizing. Understand I know the difference between the European and American sizes. I ordered the American size according to the ordering directions and when the shoe arrived it was labeled correctly. This shoe was too narrow to put on. If you have a very narrow narrow foot you can wear this shoe by ordering the wide, but if you are a medium or wide, forget it.

toe boxshort of shoe is too for comfort, seems to have a bubble above the toes, but shorter than usual. Kept them since I needed to wear them, but not very comfy.

The product was delivered within two business days.

My only concern was that when it was delivered by UPS, it was just left on my door step while I was at work, and if I did not notice it until late in the day, I would never have known it arrived.
