This is a really nice shoe, which I initially ordered 2 1/2 sizes larger in medium width based on reviews, and then ordered it again 2 sizes larger than my normal size in wide. This shoe clearly runs smaller and narrow, so take that into consideration. It laces wide, about the same as in the medium, so I think it is made that way. The shoe is soft and comfortable and great for practicing dance moves. I like being in bare feet, but now wear these shoes instead as they feel as if my feet are bare, and they offer protection. Nice shoe overall.

Each Capezio product I have purchased has been well-made, as is this shoe. Be alert--although the website states that the sizes are true to street size, when I ordered mine in my street-size, they were too small. I had to exchange for wider and bigger size. Exchange was prompt and without problem.

These are very nice dance shoes. I had to order a size and a half larger than my street size. Other than that everything else about them is great!

These shoes are okay. I wear a 9 in street shoes and ordered a 9 in these. I feel like I have obese feet in these because the laces have to be tied so wide. I wouldn't recommend going up a size, as I'm sure they'll stretch over time to fit. A plus is that they're made of high quality leather and materials. I don't like the heel cup. It's stiff and feels too big for my foot. It also comes up really high and hurts the back of my heel. It should be okay with tights, though. I have been using the Bloch JazzSoft shoe, but Amazon didn't have them and neither did my local dance shop. I would definitely get the Bloch shoe before I order the Capezio one again, but in a pinch, Capezio works fine.
