I wear a size 8 shoe, size 8 1/2 gym shoe, I bought a size 8 1/2, but I should've bought a size 9. They are just a bit too small. Other than that, they are easy to move with. Next time I will buy another pair a bit larger and all leather.

I love these shoes-Bought a half size bigger than my normal as instructed. They feel so good, no foot pain at all. My previous pair pinched the side of my foot to the point I didn't want to put my best effort into moving. Turns and spins are easy. I do Zumba and I will wear these until they are worn out!

I bought the Capezio Web Dance sneaker but found the sizes ran large and felt bulky at the toe. I tried two different sizes and decided to try a different style. I have a size 8 foot, medium width. After two attempts with the web dance sneaker I bought the Rockit. I bought a half size bigger and it feels great. Can't wait for my next Zumba class!

Based on the good reviews for this model, I bought a pair for my Zumba class. The shoes are made of good materials and are nice looking. However I did not find it comfortable as other reviewers described. The arch of the shoes is somewhat flat and thin, which does not provide enough support for my high-arch feet. Also the arch curve does not fit the natural shape of the foot. It curves a little off, toward the front side of the shoe, which makes it feel awkward when walking. I returned the shoes and swithed back to my old brand and model that I knew for sure would work for me. (If your feet have high arch like mine, I would recommend you to buy Bloch S0538L. The shoes don't look very fancy, but for comfort they serve you well).
The positive experience is that Amazon return policy is so quick and easy. I got free shipping with the purchase of the shoes. It only cost me $4.80 for return shipping, and I got my refund in just a few days. No restocking fee. I would definitely chose Amazon over other othe sellers when possible.

I was looking for a sneaker/dance shoe for my Zumba classes and came upon the Rockit Dance Sneaker in my searches. I read many of the reviews written and followed the advice of many women before me. I purchased up a size and am very pleased. I have a little bit of extra room at the end of my shoe but that prevents sore toes after an awesome hour or more of class. For those of your with high arches, these shoes are great.
I would suggest wearing a separate pair of shoes to class. Don't wear these to and from...the sand and dirt will just prevent you from sliding. Amazing...my feet don't hurt! Best purchase of 2010!

I bought these for my wife and got 8.5, which is larger than her normal fit of 7.5 to 8. They seem about right. She likes them a lot for her zumba class. A key point to note when ordering this type of shoe is the lacing since it needs to be kept tight.

Buy 1 Size Larger and Do Not Get for Zumba on Hard Woods,
By Laurie Leal (Richmond, VA) - See all my reviews

After reading the reviews on this shoe I bought a pair for my Zumba class. I usually wear a 9 1/2, sometimes a 9. I bought a 10. They're tight. My toes are smushed and the shoe toe is hard plastic so there is no wiggle room. At the end of one 60 minute class I couldn't wait to get them off.
Also - these shoes are suppose to help make gliding easier. That is an under-statement. My Zumba class is on wood floors. You will SLIDE all over the place in these. They have plastic soles. Hard plastic. Stopping when you want is harder than you think. All in all I'm not impressed with the shoe. I plan on trying Puma - which all three Zumba instructors had.

I purchased these Dansneakers for Zumba class at my local community center. I made the mistake of wearing trail runners at the first class, which was a disaster for my knees and hips - too much traction! The Capezio Dansneakers were ideal for later classes - allowing support with plenty of slide and spin!
As noted by other customers, the sizing is a little weird. I am a very straight 9.5 street shoe, and typically size down for dance shoes, ice skates, etc., so I ordered a 10 based on the reviews and my usual preferences - with low cut athletic socks, the 10 was TOO SMALL - so I switched my socks to thin Swiftwick Performance Zero Socks running socks and the fit was ideal. 2 hours, no blisters, arches, toes, heels intact. They're not attractive to look at, but did the job and I'm very satisfied with the purchase. So, if you prefer thick/padded athletic socks, definitely order one full size up. If you wear tights/stockings or thin wicking socks, half a size larger than street shoe will probably do you fine. They felt a little odd at first, but wore like marshmallows once on the move. :) Best of all, they offer a fine combination of traction, slide, and shock absorbance compared to cross trainers or less supportive dance shoes. Happy dancing!

I recently bought these shoes to wear when I do Zumba. I do a class that is in a carpeted room and they are fantastic since they don't stick to the floor. I also do a class in a gym and they work great there too. I love how flexible they are. I usually wear a 7 Wide or 7.5 shoe and I bought the 7.5 M in this shoe. It fits well, but is quite narrow, so be aware of that if you buy.

Great dance shoe!,

If you're taking a class like Zumba, this is a great shoe to wear for it. The bottom front of the shoe helps with turning, and the shoe itself is very, very light which is great for quick dance movements. However, the tread wears out quickly, so never wear it out on the street (even walking from your car into the gym).
