I am a true 7 1/2 medium. This shoe looks lovely and felt like it might be comfortable for extended dancing; but, it is short and narrow even for a dance shoe. I returned it for a shoe 1/2 size larger than my normal size.

These shoes look GREAT!! But they hurt. The soles are not well formed for dancing for extended periods, and they never seemed to break in right. Even after attempting to dance on them for several weeks, my feet were hurting after just a few dances, and the soles are too thin to accommodate dancing on a less-than ideal floor. These are NOT great social dance shoes!! If you just need them to look good for a night or two, then they're a great choice, but the discomfort isn't worth it for any longer than that. I retired these almost immediately and invested in a pair of Very Fines instead. I was terribly disappointed, this is NOT the quality that I've been able to expect from Capezio in the past, and after these and one other pair of disappointing shoes from them, I may be avoiding them from here on out.
