Just a warning. I wear - and have for years a 9.5 size shoe. I ordered 9.5 and they were slightly too small. I returned for a size 10 and they fit great.
If you are considering these shoes - consider a half-size larger than you typically buy. I'm using these as my husband and I are taking ballroom dancing lessons - they are great on the dance floor. Not too slick, but allow me to turn easily. Highly recommended!

I ordered these shoes for my zumba classes. . .they are great! For me, if we have jumping moves then they are not the best shoes but for sliding, turning and general exercise zumba moves then they are great! I ordered a half size bigger and they fit perfect.

I bought these shoes for my wife to use for Zumba and other dance classes offered at the local YMCA and dance studio. She's a fan of Capezio shoes (as am I- we're both dancers), and these dance sneakers lived up to her expectations - light weight, flexible, well constructed.
For those who haven't ever worn dance sneakers/shoes, the fit is a little different than a typical street shoe. Order 1/2 size larger than your regular shoe size as dance shoes usually run a little small. In addition, these are split sole shoes (there's no hard rubber sole under the arch of your foot), which allows your foot more flexibility. Again, they may feel a little strange on your feet if you're not used to this type of shoe, but you'll appreciate the split sole when you're doing fast moves or spins, or in some cases, standing on your tip toes!

Too Slick for Zumba,

I needed a pair of dance shoes to wear for Zumba, since regular tennis shoes have too much grip. Unable to find the ones I wanted in my size, I finally went with these based on several reviews hailing them as great Zumba shoes. After trying them on, I think people may be getting sold more on the look than the function. I work out at home, so cute is optional but function is a must. The split sole on these is thick, smooth plastic with a few grooves but absolutely no grain; they give you plenty of slide--but no stability. First I tossed the rug aside and tried them on the hardwood, which for me is a better surface for dance and Zumba than carpet. Slides and turns were smooth and effortless--stopping, not so much. On lunges your feet just keep sliding, and you have to fight for balance to prevent doing the involuntary splits. The extra strain and lack of control are the things injuries are made of--especially of the knees and back. Next I put the big asian area rug back down over the hardwood and tried that; these shoes still slide a little too much when moving front and back--slides to the side are a little better on the rug, just because the texture of the carpet offers some sideways resistance. For me, the plastic soles on these just don't provide enough traction to safely do fast-moving workouts like Zumba. They're probably fine for professional dancers doing spins and toe stands, preferably with a partner for support. I gave 3 stars for the look and the overall quality of the shoes--they're cute enough and seem well-made. But cute does not equal practical, especially for the price, so I returned them. So far the best shoes I've found for Zumba are still the Sansha Salsette; they have a medium-grain suede sole pad that offers a good balance between slide and friction. (And they're less expensive.) So far, they've also been impossible to find in the right size.Speaking of size, if you think these are for you, listen to the reviews that say to order a half size up--not a whole size. I wear an 8.5 and ordered the 9.5 to make sure I still had toe room, since these shoes are cut flat across the front for toe work. With socks they were still a bit too big--loose enough to add to the clumsiness caused by the slick sole. A half size up from street size would have fit just about right.

I got these shoes for zumba classes and really like them. They are comfortable right out of the box and very flexible. I did order a half size larger than I usually wear and it seems like the right fit. The only reason I didn't give these shoes 5 stars is because on certain flooring they tend to lose traction and slide. I take classes at different locations and at one location they have fairly slippery wood floors and I occassionaly find the shoes slide a bit. Not a big deal to me though.

I love these shoes! They are HOT! They work very well with dancing, especially Zumba. A great investment. I ordered a half size larger than my street shoes, and it's a good thing I did.

With some other shoes, my feet would hurt. I don't have that problem with these. Recommend.

I bought these sneakers for my Zumba class - they are ideal for this type of a workout. Luckily I had read some of the other reviews, and knew to buy a half-size up. Also, if you have very wide feet, these won't work for you. They are just right for me, but someone with a wide foot would find these shoes uncomfortable. I really enjoy the fact that the soles are split, they are very "bendy" but even so, I feel very secure on my feet dancing in these sneakers. Appearance wise, these shoes are CUTE!
