The Center for Public Integrity, founded by Charles Lewis in 1990, is the nonpartisan, non-profit watchdog organization that produced The Buying of the President, The Buying of the Congress in 1998, and The Buying of the President 2000.
About the Author
Diane Renzulli led the Center's first state projects, looking into the role of money in the Indiana and Illinois legislatures. In 2000, she oversaw the Center's examination of potential conflicts of interest in state legislatures nationwide. She is currently studying at the Harvard School of Public Health.
