I was leery of purchasing this import because it had no description at the time. I feared poor sound quality. These recordings are licensed originals by Capitol to EMI. Excellent sound quality. The overall package design is nice, but it would have been nicer to have a booklet of liner notes to go with it. The 3rd CD has a brief timeline in outline form of some major events in Darin's life, but that's it. Overall it's a purchase you'll be happy with and is a better value for the money than the other Darin Box Set "As Long As I'm Singin'" . The set is also nice if you already own one of the single Cd "greatest hits" albums with Mack the Knife, Beyond the Sea etc etc because you won't find duplicates of these on this set. These are songs mainly from Darin's Sinatra-period and a little from his folk period.

This is an excellent 3 disc set of Bobby Darin. Sound quality is very good and the price is right. Ole Blue Eyes had nothing over Mr Darin.

This 3-disc set highlights BD's in between capitol portion of his amazing career. Unfamiliar gems are few, because the 63 tracks spread across 3 cd's is well worth the reduced price! If BD floats your boat (who in the worlds boat doesn't he float)this just might be the yacht of capitol released efforts! As Long As I'm Singing, If A Man Answers, Hello Dolly, More, Blue Skies, Somewhere, 18 Yellow Roses, & If I Had A Hammer, are ridiculously understating this treasure trove of BD-mania! With this one you can't go wrong!
