Not quite up to the standard of consistency, clarity, and strength that I get from some other brands, but there are very few applications where these differences would be at all important. For the money and the quick availability, these are a solid bargain.

I used these for doing darkfield microscopy. I found that some coverslips caused an increase of light reflection causing the dark field to be so bright I could hardly see anything. Some were fine. This must mean that they are not all uniform in thickness. I had not experience this with any over coverslips I've tried. They would probably be just fine for brightfield microscopy though.

Just like the less expensive slides, contains some cracks or imperfections and may contain some broken units, but for the price I will buy again...the cracks aren't confusing because they aren't moving or alive, so they obviously aren't a target for my microscopy. I would buy from them when the need arises. Good enough product for what I use it for which is nothing hugely scientific. Pros may not appreciate this product or the slides I reviewed, but I'm scoping for fun and entertainment so they are acceptable to me. Good company.

These were appropriately-priced and the sizing and quality were acceptable.

But they might have been better packed:

No "caution: glass" label;
Insufficient padding inside the box;
Top 3 coverslips in the first box I opened were (not amazingly) broken (although the rest in this container seem to be OK).

I assume this applies to other boxes in the shipment -- I ordered 7 so I could get free Supersaver shipping.

Sometimes you get a piece with a scratch or lines or material anomalies but overall when I view unicellular organisms from pond water, these covers work really well.

These cover slips are filthy. You don't see it as much with brightfield microscopy, although they do degrade the image, but with darkfield, the reflections from the dirt or pits overwhelm everything else. I wish I knew a brand that comes out of the box clean, but I don't.

That being said, readers should realize that cover slips are VERY thin--less than .2 mm--and learning not to break them takes time and patience.

These get the job done, but my main complaint is how dirty they were when I got them. I can't see things on my microscope without thoroughly cleaning them first, which is a painful process when they are so fragile. I broke one already from trying to clean it.

It is not for crafts. VERY frail glass.
I obviously did not know what I was buying.
If you are looking for small square glass slides to sandwich your craft item between, and solder around, this is not the microscope glass slide you are looking for.
