high level improvisation,
This review is from: Cappuccino Klang (Audio CD)
if you are at all intersted in finding out about this recording, it would help to have the performers and record label correctly listed.
it's gianni gebbia - saxophones, peter kowald - bass and gunter "baby" sommers -percussion splasc[h] records this is a classic in improvised music played by expert musicians who have created a new music which is not constrained by the jazz and folk forms which they have used in this creation. this is pretty free stuff, but you will still tap your foot and rock in your chair at times, just not the whole time. in case you are interested in hearing what those crazy europeans have done to keep "jazz" from becoming a big yawn, here is a good place to start. btw, the price i hope is a mistake. you should be able to purchase this for around 20 us dollars.
