? Choose from 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups and select mild, regular or strong. Program two completely different settings, one for manual operation and one for automatic operation.
? Solid steel conical burrs, the same as found in our automatic coffee centers. The slow grinding of the burrs imparts minimal heat preserving more aroma than blade grinding. It also allows a finer and more uniform grind than combination machines with a blade grinder.
? Four fineness settings for light to dark beans let you adjust the grinder to your preferred beans.
? Grinding and brewing are separated, keeping moisture away from the grinder. The filter automatically swings forward and the brewing process begins.
? Bean container holds up to 80 grams of coffee. Detachable see-through cover lets you check the flow of the ground coffee - easy to clean the grinder channel.
? AM/PM Programmable Clock/Timer lets you set the time when to grind and brew automatically.
? The display shows the time, the strength setting and for how many cups the grinder is programmed.
? 10-cup (47 oz.) capacity.
? GoldTone Filter (size 4, conical) included.
? Over 200° F brew and up to 180° F coffee temperature in the thermal carafe directly after brewing.
? Use the CoffeeTEAM Therm like a regular drip coffee maker with pre-ground coffee (without grinder) in case another kind of coffee is required.

Want a grind & brew coffee maker that gets it right? This is it. Conical Burr grinder, 200 degree brewing tempurature, 8 minute brew cycle. Adjustable grind corseness, adjustable strength. Use fresh roasted coffee (my favorite is Caffe Pronto Bronco Blend) & clean fresh water & you have a perfect cup of coffee. A little more expensive than other grind & brews, but you are getting quality - worth every penny.

Longevity and Repair Issues,
By Michigan Engineer (SW Michigan) - See all my reviews Contact Customer Service when you have plenty of time to be on hold. You will be told to use a coarser grind setting. If that doesn't work (as if limiting the capabilities of the machine is a solution), you have to send the machine in for a $250 repair. It doesn't matter what's wrong with the machine, it's $250 for all repairs. I'm online now looking for a replacement with more reliability. I see some machines touting a removeable brewing unit specifically for cleaning and maintaining the machine.

Caution - Burrs not Accessible for Cleaning or Service,

For some reason Capresso has decided to make all of their all-in-one grinder / brewers with the burr grinders locked away inside where they can not be cleaned, inspected and replaced when needed.
We own this very same Capresso Grinder / Brewer and finally found all of the hidden screws to remove to allow thorough cleaning of the grinder. The hardest part is figuring out how to dismantle their puzzle. Unfortunately Capresso has also decided to refuse to sell parts for the machine, except for items such as lids and carafes. Recently our coffee seemed weak. I had just totally cleaned both burrs and everything was as clean as new. I found the problem to be dull burrs which slowed down the grind speed producing less coffee grounds and thus weak coffee. I replaced the burrs with a set from our Capresso 560 grinder and now we've got full strength coffee again. The problem I now face is that Capresso REFUSES to sell the lower burr, the one that is the dullest. They consider this an internal part. I now have a useless $80 grinder that I sacrificed to save a $200 coffee maker. I have called Capresso several times trying to find a way to buy a complete burr set and was appalled by the attitude, arrogance and rudeness of the people on the phone that got incensed when I did not happily accept their answer "We do not sell internal parts." They were not helpful at all and worse yet, did not seem to care. I don't think they do, at least not the people I could get in contact with. We like out CoffeeTeam better than we like the company. Capresso, very disappointing to deal with.
