This is an affordable starter humidor, but it requires alot of maintenance. The unit doesn't have the best seal and has trouble holding humidity constant for more than a few days...as a result expect to spend some time fiddling with the humidifier and box seal.

It looks good on my desk and easily holds 25 larger cigars and does a good job for short term cigar storage.

Nice little humidor that conditioned properly over a few days and continues to keep nice cigars at near-perfect humidity levels. The front-facing humidity gauge could be higher quality, for sure. I ended up having to return my first humidor and request a replacement due to the gauge being SO far off and refusing to calibrate with a small screw driver. The second unit was much, much better and I haven't had to mess with it since the initial calibration. The 1st and 2nd unit I got were very different humidors. The first had a loose-fitting silver gauge, the 2nd was brass. The box had different physical dimensions too, so make sure if you order that you get what you paid for. The 2nd unit was MUCH nicer than the 1st... the gauge fits, works, and the finish on the exterior is SMOOTH and untextured.

Wood on the inside smells great and the black finish on the exterior looks great and cleans up well after being dusty in the house. The bottom is soft too, so I can set it on other wood things without scratching.

Good humidor at a fantastic price, just make sure you get what you ordered!

It works great for such a great value price. It seems air tight, but I find that I am adding water to the humidifier puck about once ever other week w/distilled water. If you want more mileage you can add a 50/50 mix of distilled water & propylene glycol. (I've heard and read once a month or less is *normal*). Also, I would suggest rotating the cigars every month or so. All in all, I'm loving this purchase.

Although a good looking product, I would not recommend a glass top humidor as it does not distribute humidity evenly. I wanted to return it, but you only have 30 days from the date of purchase to return/exchange.

Cheaphumidors.com are exactly that: "cheap" (and I don't mean that in the good way). They have done an excellent job at deceiving potential customers. They have a fancy website and professional photos of their products. Unfortunately, their products are not worth your money.

First, they don't mention that their products are made in China. A lot of things are made in China, but good humidors rarely are. Second, the "engraved" nameplate that I ordered was printed in a pixelated, dot-matrix like manner. It looks like it could have been from a printer circa 1991. Third, there are vast inconsistencies in the color of the wood for the products. The humidor I ordered was NO WHERE near the same color as the photo on the website. Sure, they disclaim this in the fine print, but really, I shouldn't have to read the fine print to receive an acceptable product. Finally, they charge a 20% restocking fee for undamaged orders. As an internet business, this is exhorbitant. They offer a 100% money back guarantee, but it is not 100%...it's an 80% money back guarantee.

I read reviews that were somewhat mixed about this product for one reason or another but I have had zero problem with it. In fact the only issue I have is it works too well and I have to be careful adding distilled water because if I add too much it'll go above 70% humidity. I have had 30 cigars in it and it has worked great in addition to being a nice little office decoration.

Purchased this item as a gift and thoroughly impressed! This is a great looking humidor and perfect for the novice smoker. Holds 25+ large gauge cigars and the hygromoter works well...For $35 this humidor is a steal!

i think this is a really good buy for the price. this humidor works like a charm and keeps cigars fresh.
