About the Author
Esphyr Slobodkina is a talented painter, designer, and writer-illustrator of children's books. Her paintings are in the permanent collections of The Corcoran Gallery, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Philadelphia Art Museum, New York University, and many others. She lives in Great Neck, NY.
