After reading the trainwreck that was Vol. 4, this was pretty refreshing. Wonderful artwork drives this Morales story, until the last chapter where it kinda loses its way due to a cross-over from "Truth: Red, White and Black" (another Morales project, of which I recommend). It's a longer read then the previous volumes and a slightly different direction. If you ignore the last chapter it's pretty great.This is probably the last trade-paperback that Marvel will make for the Captain America Marvel Knights series. If you really want to continue the series, check out "Captain America: Disassembled". Although I dont recommend that title at all. This series doesn't really know where its going at this point (too many writers will do that). |
