30s Adventure Lives On!,
By "surfergirl-64" (San Antonio, TX United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Captain Blood (Audio CD)
This 1937 radio play of "Captain Blood" is a great piece of history. The recording includes the advertisements for Lux soap, an interview with a treasure diver and, of course, Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland - and Basil Rathbone - recreating their roles from the 1935 classic film. There is also a brief interview with Flynn about his upcoming "adventure" to wore torn Spain, and Olivia mentions his "new" book Beam Ends. If you're a history buff, or Flynn fan, add this great recording to your collection. It's not to be missed. Oh yes - the quality is quite good!
