Definitely worth the download time!, August 20, 2009
Wether she is singing a traditional Scottish ballad or one of her own quirky compositions, Meg Davis has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. If you are into the whole British Folk/Trad scene and you like your High Fantasy (fiction) with a twist of humor, you will love this album. Originally released on vinyl LP, the CD/mp3 release contains 9 bonus tracks from 4 other albums, 2 of which are still out of print.

Great music for a Celtic Campfire!!!, March 4, 2011
I haven't heard this album in twenty years and it is still as melodic and compelling as ever! I especially love "Captain Jack and the Mermaid", "Wind in the Pipes", and "The Elf Glade". On the track "Because You Have Wings", Meg's voice reminds me of the the best of Judy Collins.
