awesome guide March 10, 2012
I got another one of the Captain's books to help with my traveling woes, and as it was packed with wonderful information, I had to add this one to my collection as well. I loved this guide! I have travel anxiety, and as with the other book, this one was a tremendous help. This guide will literally guide you through the whole process in a easy to read and understand way. The safety tips are amazing, things I would never normally think of. It was a great eye opener! From hotel-check in, fire safety, protecting your items, blending in with foreign areas....everything is covered. I've said it before, whether you're a big-time traveler or traveling for the first time, this is a super guide for you.

I was a road warrior for 15 years -- traveling every week. The information in this book is extremely valuable to anyone who travels even occasionally. If you value your safety, read this book. You will be amazed.

Great information! March 10, 2012

Who can you trust better when it comes to flying and safety other than a Pilot himself? Captain Nolly does a fantastic job with this guide, just as he did with the other ones. This one does what the title says. Your trip will go smoother, easier and DEFINITELY safer. This one covers a lot about safety, which is an often overlooked aspect of travel. Most of the things in this book had me realizing how unsafe I really was when I traveled. I never thought about fire safety when I went to a hotel...how stupid was I? Or maybe lucky is the right word. Now it's the first thing I do when I get to a hotel. I recommend this book to travelers everywhere. It's a guide you should not go without.
