Well, there is a story behind me geting a hold of this CD. Where I live a new arcade opened up and there was a dance game there where some of the songs were by Captain Jack and instantly I fell in love with his style of dance music so I sought after one of his albums and this is what I came across, and I love each and every one of the tracks. It's a nice peppy dance CD.

This is my more recent purchases and I must say I LOVE it!! After hearing some of more "classic" songs from Konami's "Dance" series I just had to have more of Captain Jack's genius; and here it is! From the clever INTRODUCTION to the totally awesome MAGIC IN YOU, Franky Gee really struts his stuff! Great tracks include GET UP!, 2000, ROBOTMAN ON HOLIDAY, IN THE NAVY and ONLY YOU. You'll be surprised at just how many different styles this talented artist can do. The good thing is that no matter what style he does, he can do it well. This is just one of the many reasons I love his music. Whether it's just listening or dancing, his tunes can really rock the house! If you haven't heard his stuff, you're missing out! GREAT cover art on this one as well as the insert. I could go on forever, but I will say that this CD is a MUST BUY!! There is a also Japanese release of this album with the same name(with a few different tracks). No matter which one you get, it's worth it, trust me! This is definitely one of his best albums! Whether you're familiar with C.J. or not, go for it! If it's dancing you want, then Jack delivers! Another masterpiece by the Dance Commander!

I found this to be an awesome CD. Personally I love Dance Dance Revolution, and used to play it in Ontario, CA. all the time. It wasn't until just recently that I got the CD, and loved it. Also I read the review from Michael Boulanger, who I used to know, about 3-4 years ago, and he is right. It has a euro-pop twist with very catchy beats to it. Any one who like Dance Dance Revolution I urge to get this, as well as trying the DDR game.

J-pop is life lol I aint a big DDR player (lol im really bad) but I sure do love the music. And I dont particularly like rap. But Captain Jack is much more than rap. He mixes techno and dance beats with awasome j-pop divas and a catchy hip hop rap tune. I reccomend this cd to anyone who like the following music styles: Rap, R&B, J-pop, pop, J-rock, dance, electronica, techno, alternative, surf, punk, heck... anyone should like Captain Jack lol ^-^

I, for one, like Captain Jack - former military man-turned Euro-dance rapper. However, it is definitely only for certain tastes. In a lot of his songs, he yells so much that you want to turn the song down. However, on other songs, his rapping is the perfect addition - it just depends, song to song. On the album, "The Captain's Revenge", most of his rapping is kept to a pleasant minimum. This album is pretty good....the best songs being DREAM A DREAM(#2), GET UP(#4), IN THE NAVY '99(#7) and ROBOTMAN ON HOLIDAY(#8). GET UP is the amazing single release that The Captain did with The Gypsy Kings. It is a surprising diversion for Captain Jack, and us fans get to see him spread his wings a bit. "The Captain's Revenge" is a very solid effort that will be a great addition to any dance fan's collection - hopefully you can overlook the insanely cheap-looking cover art of this record. The cover itself isn't so bad, but once you open up to the inside pages, the photos of Captain Jack and his lovely female vocalist look straight out of a bad 1980's ad. They have the quality of a cheap adult movie. Visuals aside, buy this album!
