Captivating Combinations: Color ans Stlye in the Garden
I ordered this book for my husband some time ago. He keeps it on the coffee table at all times and is always going back to it to read about some plant or flower he has seen or heard about. CAPTIVATING COMBINATIONS:COLOR AND STYLE IN THE GARDEN is definitely a book for all gardeners. And Amazon.com has the best price I have found.

Don't buy kindle edition especially if using iPad
If like me , you use an iPad to read kindle books, don't bother to buy this book as you will be very disappointed in the quality of the photographs they are very low resolution and the colour is ridiculously oversaturated. It's something of a pity that the publishers chose to produce such a poor copy for the kindle. This is becoming a common experience for me with kindle...

I have heard Norman Winter speak and he is a great garden speaker as well as being a great writer. He has spoken here in Tuscaloosa in 2004 to a garden group. He is on our calendar again for 2010.
His books are very reablable and reads just like he speaks. |
