This book will open your eyes to God's truth that every woman can be a beautiful, captivating woman. I can recommend it to every woman, especially young women. Wish I had found it years ago.

I have read Captivating three times and am now using the Study Guide. This is a study for all women and the guide is a usefool tool to compliment the book. Essential reading and study for women ages 13+.

i bought this as a mother's day gift for my daughter. It hit home for me. I wanted to share a word with my daughter. She is a wonderful mother and wife, but we all soemtimes forget the gift we have been given from The Lord as a woman.

I purchased this study guide because the book is one of the best books I've ever read. I must say however, that I was a little disappointed with the guide. It just didn't click for me as far as the questions in the guide. It did suggest that you read the entire book first and then each chapter in the guide takes you back to re-read each chapter in the book.
Sometimes the questions are not as deep and get you thinking and relating as the original material, and this is what I experienced with this guide.
I do, however HIGHLY recommend the book for every woman!

Great book for women. Educational, supportive, tender. Causes one to pause & reflect. Companion to men's book. Great for church groups.

To Stasi and John,I started to read your book on Thrusday,July17th.I have not been able to put it down. I just finished a work shop on self improvement, which bought out a lot of which you have written on abandonment, that's me.I've been freed, thanks to the work shop, thru the working of the Holy Spirit I feel such a release. I think ,act,and speak all in a new way. I have recommended your book to friends of mine. This book is as the youth say, "off the hook, or off the chain".
Now I would like to read the book for men so I can get a better understanding of men.

I was apart of a group of women who went through this book together. I was so glad to be Blessed this way. So many broken spots that are not seen in us. So many of us look so put together, but are not. This book lets us see the inside parts and begin the true heeling process. But like all things we have to let it and the Holy Spirit do the job. It is a work of love on yourself not all can do this. Their are tough women among us and plan to stay that away, for those you will not enjoy this book. For the women who move in a softer way your spirit will respond to this approach.

The book was so insighful and I enjoyed the husband and wife teamwork. The book helped me to believe God again for things I day dreamed about as a young girl. It reminded me of how much God loves me and that I was created for love and it defined for me a little more what love is or could be when we trust God. I have been a believer for several years and it is easy to get caught up in doing church rather than being. The book also reminded me that it is ok to want to be captivating and beautiful and that I don't have to hide myself because of past hurts. I can trust God if I indeed have surrended my life to Him; and I have. Thank you.

I'm sure that this book would speak to some, but just didn't do it for me.

Well, I really wanted the actual book Captivating, but when I saw Amazon's no return to outside parties policy, I just went with it. Now a group of gals are planning to use it as part of our book club. I have not delved into the study guide to in-depth yet, and I will probably come back to this review at that time. I just wanted people to make sure you want the study guide here, not the book itself.
