Her five-volume Emerald Ballad series was the first major work of fiction to bring the Irish immigration experience to the CBA marketplace-and the work that first brought BJ an international reading audience.
Her readers know they can expect to meet some memorable people in her novels and also know that many of those people will be immigrants-Irish immigrants particularly but not exclusively.

Great Christian Mystery--for young and old,

This book is a great christian mystery. It was the first I have read in this series. It keeps you reading..unable to put it down. The twist on this book is great. Very well written! If you like mystery novels but prefer not to read about the sex, bad words, and violence then this is the book for you. Good for young and old. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.
