This book is for any photographer who wants to see what it is truly like to "Capture the Moment." This books not only contains stunning photojournalism pictures, but also the stories that go with each. Together, they provide a real sense of the stories behind the photos.

No doubt everyone has seen at least one of these pictures in their lifetime. The raising of the American flag on Iwo Jima, the naked girl fleeing her napalmed village during the Vietnam War, or Babe Ruth's final bow.

I bought this at the Durham Museum in Omaha Nebraska during the pulitzer photography exhibit. The book is oversized paperback. Pages are glossy. Many of these photographs you have probably seen before... Many you may not have. Each photograph is accompanied by a short story of the photo or how the photo was shoot.

Each of the photos capture our world from many different angles. Some heartbreaking, some joyful.

Even if you know nothing about photography, this will be a great addition to your library.
