I love the author's style. This is just what I aspire to: quick, spontaneous sketches, with loose color. The book is full of these drawings from years of celebrity trials with accompanying text discussing the authors experience at each preceeding
The problem for me personally is I could care less about the celebrities or their troubles. I don't even know half of the people mentioned. What I was hoping for was more info on the author's art techniques and materials used. She provides only a short chapter at the beginning and even that lacks any real information. This is great eye candy and inspiration. If you like celebrity watching and real life drama, you'll love this book. |
