An Inspiration
Any an advanced amateur landscape oil painter will find this book a great source of inspiration and practical advice. If you want to simplify your technique and,at the same time, capture the esence of the scenes which inspire,this book will help enormously. Great impressionist examples for the intermediate painter
This is a quick book written in conversation style that provides several examples of finished work and a few "how to" examples. He is an excellent painter, and I believe this book would be better for the intermediate painter than the beginner. He doesn't go into alot of detail about his technique. It seems he prefers to let the reader interpret for himself the...

This is a quick book written in conversation style that provides several examples of finished work and a few "how to" examples. He is an excellent painter, and I believe this book would be better for the intermediate painter than the beginner. He doesn't go into alot of detail about his technique. It seems he prefers to let the reader interpret for himself the meaning of his statements through observation of his works.
