Has been an excellent product. While short cord is great for storage, makes it difficult to talk on phone while it is charging without the charger becoming dislodged.

Not as sturdy as I'd hoped for, but does the job of charging my new DroidX.
I can't complain about the price either. Good charger for the price!

This charger works great! The last 3 chargers I bought either broke or fell apart.

Car Charger For Palm Centro...

This item worked fine when I first purchased it. However, over time (for me about 6 months @ 7 or 8 uses) you loose the firm fit you once had with your car's jack. This has become a major problem because if I am not paying attention to the small LED and whether or not it is in lit mode, your cell may not even charge. This is happening to me now, with more frequency. I plug it in and have to play with it to get it into the right positioning in order for my Centro to charge. I feel this is partly due to that fact that the cord is too short.

my 1997 Jeep is perhaps under equipped or maybe its jacks are not up to the latest electronic hardware standards for such products. I'm not sure but since this is my only car, I needed a charger... guess the search continues.

This thing works great. I would buy one even if you don't hink you need it because it is sooo cheap and is great to have for those emergencies

I love to purchase my phone accesories through Amazon, but I don't know if I would purchase this car charger again. The part that connects to the phone easily disconnects from the phone. So i have to keep putting the charger in the phone and it becomes annoying after awhile. It's just too loose. :-(

I bought it to replace my broken one, it worked like it was supposed to, and that's what I wanted. Would buy this again. Definitely worth it for the cost -- you'll save a lot of money than if you bought it in a store, even including the shipping.

Cheap... ok to have on hand as a backup, but don't expect it to last beyond gentle uses. Eventually cut the head off of this chord & mixed it with another charger that broke in another location.

Beware the risk of buying from BargainCell. I purchased a car charger from BargainCell on August 7 2009. Less then four months later the car charger stopped working. I contacted BargainCell. Their reply was:

"Hi, thank you for contacting us. According to our records, you received the product(s) for over 30 Days already. The warranty period for the item(s) you have purchased has expired. Sorry, but we will not be able to replace the product(s) you purchased now.

This charger is ok for emergencies, but it is not recommended to fully charge your phone, because it does not have a sensor to know when the battery is fully charged and it can burn your battery.
