my son (7) got this for christmas and after a few hours the bulb went and we couldn't fix it; he was really dissapinted because he loved it. Now he has a replacement and it works fine; he particularly loves putting the designs together and the book with the ideas.This is an innovative design toy which kids love but it needs to be more resilient to posting and breakage and perhaps have a spare bulb included!

My 7 year old son loves to draw and loves cars. This was a perfect "design studio" for him to trace and color sports cars. It made him feel great to draw and design spectacular looking cars. Even his friends got involved and they played with this together making different designs. Very much worth the price. I now want to find a more advanced set that comes with more trace design options.

This was a birthday present for my 11 year old grandson. He loves it! He has been spending hours playing with it since he got it almost 1 week ago.

Both of our son's 7yrs old and 10 yrs old love to design cars with the Car Design Studio Set. We purchased the kit a year ago and they still love it. It keeps them focused and designing for a good hour and they enjoying designing new cars together. Would highly recommend to friends!

bought this for my 10 year old son for a long trip/he really enjoyed it and so did i because it kept him busy/only suggest you take extra batteries/used up the batteries pretty fast/

I got this for my car-loving son's 7th birthday, and he loves it. He spends a lot of time reading the book, and he loves putting together his own designs and giving the cars cool "paint jobs" when he's done. I wish that they'd provided an easier way to manage the clings, or at least not made the background clear, because they are easy to lose, but overall it's a great toy for him.

I got this kit for my son and another for a girl who likes cars (ages 6 and 8). They both LOVE it! There is not a lot of boy drawing stuff out there. This is really helping my son with his fine motor skills and he loves using it. My only complaint is that the stick ons are a little difficult to put back when done using-kind of like colorforms.

I have a 5 year old boy who is car crazy and he draws cars every day. So naturally, this was one of the most exciting finds I have ever found for him. The light behind the drawing station is fantastic and the mix and match pieces to create your own car is great. He wore out the first Car Design Studio so we had to buy another one. Thank you SMART LABS!

My son loves to draw and he loves cars. I think this was his favorite gift he got for his 7th birthday. I'm just glad we saw it in his Cub Scouts magazine because I had never heard of it. It get 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from my house.

Great product! My 12 year old loves it. He used all the paper the first day because he was having so much fun designing cars.
