My girls (5 and 3) were so excited when they saw this (and another title) revealed for our long car trip. The happiness lasted all of 3 minutes when the dvd prompted them for input. The problem is, that unless your child is old enough to operate a dvd remote, this cant be played. It doesnt seem to have an 'autoplay' or 'continue' mode, so everytime something needed to be done, they got very frustrated.
I thought overall it would just be 'passive entertainment' but it wasnt even that. I think the age rating is much too low. Your child needs to either press buttons on a dvd player held in their lap, or operate a remote.
