My girls (5 and 3) were so excited when they saw this (and another title) revealed for our long car trip. The happiness lasted all of 3 minutes when the dvd prompted them for input. The problem is, that unless your child is old enough to operate a dvd remote, this cant be played. It doesnt seem to have an 'autoplay' or 'continue' mode, so everytime something needed to be done, they got very frustrated.I thought overall it would just be 'passive entertainment' but it wasnt even that. I think the age rating is much too low. Your child needs to either press buttons on a dvd player held in their lap, or operate a remote. |
