Hard to review the product without reviewing the dog/person relationship. Although not perfectly grammatical (see below if interested), it is a clear and succinct message that conveys the right sentiment. I'm not much for "statements" on cars - no bumper stickers - but this is perfect for anyone who loves his or her rescue dog, and regrets that they can't ALL be rescued.

The magnet seems to be of good quality. No problem going on and staying on. Large enough to be clear at a distance. Good design. Have yet to see how a Southern Nevada summer affects it (summer here is brutal to batteries, windshield wipers, and anything plastic or rubber), but it is inexpensive enough to replace without anguish or regret.

We are approaching our five-year anniversary with our rescued Australian Shepherd mix, and agree completely that the human benefits at least as much as the dog. Our Bear had been kept locked up alone in a garage most of his life before we met (he was on his way to execution at the local "shelter") and was 20% underweight, filthy, and went into submission posture when anyone looked at him. Within days, he had appointed himself Chief of Security for the house, and wants nothing more than to be with one, or better, both, of us; his primary mission is protect his mom, and after that, to ensure the well-being of everyone else, including the cats. He has completed our family.

All our friends with rescue dogs feel the same about theirs as we do about ours. We can't stop some people from neglecting and abandoning dogs, but we can remind the others gently that they should, if they can, rescue them. They will get more than they give.

Oh yes, grammar - of course it should be "who rescued whom.

Hey fellow shoppers: You can get the same magnet on petco's website for under $3! Don't be fooled - this one is way overpriced!

I love the idea of this car magnet, but it should read "Who rescued whom?" For those teaching your dogs to communicate in grammatically correct English, this magnet does a grave disservice. Please keep rescuing dogs, and please keep rescuing the English language.

The truth is that dogs that are from from rescue shelters are really rescuiing us. Our dog with no known background has now made 100s of visits to nursing homes and visits with rehab patients. He has brought a smile to many.

I love this magnet because it encourages people to rescue a dog or cat from a shelter. These animals are wonderful pets that are so glad and appreciative to be in a loving, forever home!

The magnet is sturdy, easy to read from a distance, and stands up very well to the hot temperatures of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
It was well packaged, and shipped quickly.

The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it should read "WHO RESCUED WHOM". That needs to be changed, and I will be the 1st to buy a new one!

Other than the obvious grammatical error (is there really no space for "whom" on the magnet?) this magnet conveys a message that resonates with a lot of pet owners we meet.

And the magnet continues to hold tight, though we do remove it when going through the car wash, just to be on the safe side.

I'm not typically a fan of these magnet thingies ,but this one called out to me. My girl came to me through a great rescue org. while I was still deeply mourning my last dog. I swear, he sent her to me, to help me get through. She is perfect for me. Not too young, not too old, not too energetic, but extremely sweet and gentle and loving. So, I impulsively bought this and another one, with a different message. This is nice and sturdy and sticks well. It's still new, so I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long haul under different weather conditions.

I bought this for a friend who rescued his boxer from the dog pound. He named her Rehab, because she has made his life wonderful since going sober. So when I saw this magnet, how could I NOT get it?? He put it on his jeep, and says he gets so many compliments and questions about it. It's perfection.
