5.0 out of 5 stars Steal it if it's the only way you can get your paws on it!, January 14, 1999
This review is from: Car Radio Jerome (Audio CD)
Oh, my friends, this is too good to pass up. You must possess it. The reverend Fred Lane spices up the scene with his own brand of home-brewed dementia. Imagine, if you will Tom Waits playing with Capitan Beefhart. Devo meets Fuel Injected. Now your beginning to get an idea. Buy it. Get it. Steal it. Posses it by any means necessary.

5.0 out of 5 stars !, March 21, 2000

I hold Jay Lee of Houston's KPFT and his repeated playings of "The French Toast Man" on the now-defunct 'Wake Up and Smell the Coffee' largely responsible for the dementia of many Houstonians now in their late twenties.

This record is too surreal for most people; if you prefer more predictable, less random lyrics, you should pass. But, if you wish to propel yourself into a state of uninhibited lunacy, play this record first thing in the morning, every day, for three weeks. Your life is bound to change.

5.0 out of 5 stars What The Heck? They Changed ..., May 26, 2011
This review is from: Car Radio Jerome (Audio CD)
... the order of the song titles.

I only have a vinyl copy of this album, and I was checking the price of a CD (too expensive!) and I noticed that. Here is the "correct" order of the songs:

-Upper Lip Of A Nostril Man
-Hittite Hot Shot
-White Woman
-Dondi Must Die
-The Man With The Foldback Ears
-Car Radio Jerome
-Dial 'O' For Bigelow
-The French Toast Man
-Pneumatic Eyes

Listen to it in this order; trust me, it's better that way.
