I was looking to find a 5 point harness seat that went above and beyond to hold my 3 and 5 year old daughters forward facing. This seat was highly recommended to me.
After searching and comparing this seat with the Britax Regent (needed tether and too wide, not FAA approved), the Costco Apex (too bulky), the Safeguard Child seat (too pricey), I found this one to have all the things I required:
1. Slim design so I could fit 3 child seats across one row in my SUV.
2. Something that offered great cushion and padding.
3. Something FAA approved.
4. Something that could fit outboard or center seat location.

After receiving the boxes (ordered from other internet vendor) I could not wait to rip them open. The seat is totally together for you and the directions are so simple to read. (if you use it rear facing you do need to attach the base)though. It is a heavy seat so I could not imagine lugging it around through the airport comfortably but I guess if you need to travel you will have to do so. I wanted FAA approved just in case we needed it but I basically wanted it for the thin seat design and extended 5 point harness feature.
It was easy to install. What a nice snug fit in both the middle row seat center and outboard positions. The seat is lower so my girls can climb in themselves which they love. One thing I wish it had was attached cupholders but that is really the only complaint I have. I opted to get the ones that attach onto the window next to my older daughter and that works fine.
The champagne color is very lovely and looks great with my camel seats.
The blue is also nice but I could not locate that in my online search.
If you are thinking of getting this seat, definitely jump on it. You will not be disappointed!

I love this seat! I purchased it for my 3 year old to replace a Graco CarGo because he's getting close to the 40 lb harness limit.

This seat was a breeze to install with using LATCH or the seatbelt. I tried it both RF w/the tether and FF. It fits rock-solid in our extended-cab pickup!

Comparing this seat to our Britax Marathon...same harness weight limit; Radian has top slots that are 1/2" taller; the Radian is much more narrow; this folds and is surprisingly easy to carry with the built in strap.

I can hardly wait to order a second for my other child!

I bought this cover to be my extra for my radian 80sl. It fits just fine and I love the color and material. It also comes with the strap covers and buckle cover. It says radian 65 on it, but it fits just the same! Fast shipping. Very nice.

We've had this car seat for over a year now. Great seat and great fit in the car. Quality is great and easy cover to wash. It still looks brand new. We had a pretty generic convertible seat before. She never looked comfortable in it or slept well. From day one in this seat you could see how much more comfortable this seat is. I love the heavy duty clasp on the harness. Most other manufacturers put a cheap little one on that could easily come undone or easily opened by a bigger kid. We're getting ready to buy another Radian 65(or 80) for the little sister. It's so nice that you can put these side by side and not waste room in your vehicle with a big bulky plastic seat.
I recommend this seat to everybody. Buy one seat and be done.

We have now purchased 3 of these and are planning to buy a 4th this summer. Easy to use and install and very comfortable. And if you take your kids on airplanes, this is the seat to have. With a carry case you can purchase for it, you just fold it up and carry it (has backpack straps and handles on the case). So it is easy to check for the flight, or easy to carry on and install on the plane. Very sturdy construction (its heavy). No big back rests and bulky side pads to block the kids view. Could use some arm rests an,d a cup holder. Fabric is easy to clean and maintain. Our kids love them and they have been very comfortable in them on some long car trips. Most importantly, it has a 5 point harness system and you never have use seat belts (as long as your vehicle has the latch system, and if your vehicle does not have a latch system, sell it and get a vehicle that does!).

Seat cover keeps falling off to the left. This caused the styrofoam to chip off. The company (Sunshine Kids) refuses to send another one even though it's only been 3 months since purchase and I have a receipt. They keep saying it's amazon's responsibility. Amazon is only responsible for 30 days.
