The product is priced well but very flimsy. I only got about a month of use out of this before the string broke. I had four keys attached to it and used it constantly; if you use your keys/ID badge more than twice a day get one with a metal cable.

I,ve had serveral cheap 'reel type" badge holders over the years that had the belt clip style of clip. The Carabiner clip is easier to use more versatile. I carry an ID badge and a card reader door/gate pass and I need to unclip it from my belt several times daily. When I drive upto a driveway gate card reader,I just unhook the biner,reach out the car window and swipe the card,and reclip it back on.The quality seems better than most. The black and chrome looks good too. I wish I would have found this item sooner. I will buy it again when it wears out. I have used it for only 1 month and so far so good.

I bought this product for work and I was very excited to receive it finally after it was suppost to be shipped in a couple of days which almost took an entire week. I bought two for "just in case" reasons, but decided to give my wife the 2nd one. A few days later, the string broke and now I am left w a cool looking carabinger. Oh well, I am off looking for a better and stronger one now. Don't waste your money with this one. If you are really serious in looking for a sturdy item, make sure its a metal chain and not a nylon string.

It works fine, although it's a little heavy. However, mine broke after hitting it on the edge (when I was sitting down). Now I can't put it back together. A coworker (we bought a bunch) said the same thing happened to him.

After about 6 months, the black piece broke apart from the silver housing. I pieced it back together, but then the entire clip broke and it became unusable. The extendable wire also does not have as much tension as expected either.

I've had one of these for over a year now and it's holding up well. Clasp is just the right strength. Plastic hasn't gotten scratched at all. It's sturdy and my favorite way to wear a badge (hooked onto a belt loop --versus using just a clip to a breast pocket or a braided, flat necklace holder).

My only objection is that the reel is not tight enough to "hold up" a heavier key such as a car smart key. I wanted something I could use to clip my smart key to my purse strap (since I don't need to put it in the ignition). Unfortunately the weight of the smart key causes the reel to un-reel a few inches. If there was some type of locking button it would be perfect. Otherwise it has a nice, well-built feeling.

I use this to attach my company's access card (inside the clear sleeve) and two keys off the key ring. This product appears to be as solid if not more so than any of the previous ones I have tried. Time will tell with my kids how long it'll last, but initial impression is it should hold up well.

I received this order as stated and it is working very well. No problems with this product at all. I would recommend it for anyone who needs key ease of use and security.

The shipping was quick and on time, and the retractable key clasp worked as I had hoped for. The attachment is a string, so I am not sure what the long term longevity is going to be of it but I would guess that it will be more than sufficient.
