For 0.50 carat, I was expecting a more radiant looking band. The overall appearance seemed fake. As a matter of fact I was able to find a CZ band that was 120$ cheaper and looked more expensive than this band. Very disappointing.

I became an actual jeweler as a hobby. I did a 3 year apprenticeship to set diamonds, cast rings, make molds, do the whole show to get a ring from scratch.

I helped my Aunt design and make her engagement ring using family stone but, I knew there was no way I would be able to do the work required for something like this and keep the budget down.

I ordered this knowing I could send it back if I hated it. I was shocked at how great it looked. The diamonds are small but, they are all matched really well and there are a lot of em. They are of reasonable quality for the size and give a TON of sparkle.

So she has been married a year now and this ring looks as great as the day it came in the mail. It really does a great job of mixing delicate detail, expert craftsmanship, and tons of sparkle. It looks fantastic with her engagement ring.

I know it is only 10K white gold but, most people don't realize that all white gold 10k,12k,14k,18k and mostly solid (995) Platinum are all heavily electroplated with Palladium. It is a metal very close to Platinum on the periodic chart. It is this that makes Plat and white gold so bright and shiny. The only way one would know it's not Platinum is by the weight. Gold and the metals mixed with it are lighter due to less density.

With out Palladium white gold looks slightly yellow (i call it dingy) and, Platinum just doesn't really ever take a shine. It looks very dull and gray prior to getting a nice Palladium finish.

So have no fear wondering if this will match your white gold or plat ring. As with any white gold or plat ring every 5 or so years (more if you get it cleaned a lot) you may start to notice a gray tint (plat) or yellow tint (white gold) to your ring. That is normal.

This is a beautiful ring. I thought Id get what looks like it did on the picture Amazon/seller page. When I got it it was something I had to squint to see. Now I'm stuck with it.
