Seems like bang for your buck...but definitely ISN'T,

I bought this for my girlfriend as a birthday present.
I thought, considering the price, the precious stones, and the number carats, that this item would provide great value. Unfortunately, the item looked pretty second-rate to me, and I have 2 main complaints about it: 1. The silver which holds the stones looks pretty cheap. Silver is only nice when it is very shiny and polished. This looked kind of dull and had some (what I think were) visible welding scars. It looked like it should belong to a child... 2. The sapphires were much, MUCH lighter in color in real life than in the picture. In the picture they look like an extremely dark navy blue, bordering on black. In reality, not so. They were actually a light blue in color. This could have just been the particular item that I received, but I call them as I see them. Overall, the whole bracelet looked poor-quality and it did not look as classy as I would have liked it to be. |
