These earrings were just ok, the tanzanite stones were real sparkly, but the opals had absolutely no color to them. Good opals are supposed to sparkle and show different colors under the light. Although they were not the quality that I had expected them to be, I will be keeping them because they look really pretty with the ring that I got that matches them. The ring had all the color I wanted.

The earings were pretty but the quality of the opal was not what I expected. I also bought this item for a gift and the earings came in a little bag and not secured in the gift box.

I wanted something in opals and liked the design, but they look like chips of WHITE PLASTIC with a lovely tanzanite border. Unfortunately, I thought that the cheap white plastic "opals" totally negated the overall look for the earrings and I returned them. If you're thinking about buying this item, DON'T DO IT! 2.15 carats means that these "opals" are large and visible to other people around you. They have absolutely no color or shine to them, so don't be surprised if they can't identify your "opals" as real gemstones (and the created opals look far better than these natural "opals").

The opals have NO COLOR whatsoever. They are milky White and flat- no sparkle at all. The tanzanite is really what makes the earrings barely passable. Not sure as yet but I may be returning them. Opal is my birthstone and I wanted something really nice.....
