3.0 out of 5 stars Same as Chilton manual, June 28, 2007

This review is from: Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Voyager & Town & Country 2003 thru 2006 (Haynes Repair Manual) (Paperback)
Since Haynes now publishes the Chilton manuals, the contents are exactly the same which is misleading. I wasted money by buying both manuals.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kept my money!!!, October 7, 2009

Very easy to follow and understand. The illustrations matched my van. The dealership was going to charge $500 to replace an AC Hose and the warranty didn't cover hoses. I replaced it for $25. Excellent investment. I also have another manual from Haynes for my Toyota Tacoma.

4.0 out of 5 stars Reasonable value, October 1, 2010

This review is from: Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Voyager & Town & Country 2003 thru 2006 (Haynes Repair Manual) (Paperback)
It has been a few years since I've purchased a Haynes manual and was disappointed that they are now using lower-quality paper for both the cover and the internal pages. The information contained therein is still quite useful. It is irritating however when they leave out certain tips, like how to reach bolts in specific challenging locations. My first use for the manual was in changing the EGR valve on my 3.3 liter engine. The instructions make it look so easy a baby could do it. What they didn't mention was that one of the bolts is slightly blocked by the alternator and requires about 1/16" more clearance in order to get to it with a normal socket (it's not really accessible with a normal box-end wrench). I ended up finding a 1/4" drive, 10mm socket that I could coax onto the bolt head and then access with a wobble-bar extension. I then was able to back the bolt out until the side of the socket started to bind against the alternator. Luckily it was enough that I could then turn the bolt the rest of the way out with my fingers. It was tedious and cost me a lot of wasted time trying to figure it out. The REST of the job was as easy as what the manual described.
