I have been dieting for quite a while now. I started dieting a while ago using calorie counting. This book simply reinforced what I was already doing. I am allowed to have up to 1200 calories a day. This book showed me how to create a meal plan. When I should eat. So now I get up at 7 a.m. and have breakfast and the other meals follow at 1 p.m., 4p.m. and 7 p.m. I love that I am alloted a cheat day which really helps with the urge to binge eat.

I also love the fact it doesn't just talk about carbs and weight lost. It gives you recipes to help create heathier low calorie meals. It gave great soup recipes, vegetable dishes, meat recipes and even desserts recipes (huge bonus in my book). I have tried several with great success. Recipes are extremely easy to follow.

The book is short sweet and fluff free. It only tells you what you need to know. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to learn the basics of carb cycling for weight loss. It's very informative with tasty recipes. I must also say carb cycling in conjunction with exercise will definitely help with weight loss. Highly Recommend!

The author started the book with a nice greeting and provided great food recipes. These recipes contain facts which help one to lose weight. The ingredients are easy to be found. Not just in Scandinavia but many places in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Oceania, people are occupied with maintaining a healthy diet. However this may be difficult for many of people who have a stressful workload or have no time to make a complete dinner. If you live in expensive areas, these types of food can be inexpensive. These recipes are easy and can be made within 10-15 minutes. I recommend this book to all weight watchers and overweight people who wish to lose some pounds within a few months.

I had heard a lot about carb cycling for weight loss and while the concept didn't stump me, it was more finding recipes that would work for me and my lifestyle. I am very picky about food and have food allergies so I am limited on what I can and can't eat. This book gave me a lot of good ideas for quick and easy meals and the dessert recipes were a big hit here. It is a very good recipe book for those that are trying out carb cycling.

I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling to find the balance between being healthy, and enjoying your meals.

I found this book to be straightforward and deliver EXACTLY what it claims to. You can definitely shed those extra pounds if you FOLLOW the guideline in this book.

As a 35 year old mom who have been struggling with her weight for as long as I can remember, I am always on the look-out for a fast yet effective way to trim down my ever expanding waistline. Then I heard about carb cycling from my colleagues and I decided to give this a try. I loved the recipes in the book, Carb Cycling For Weight Loss: by Timothy Johnson. I agree with the author when he said, "it is a struggle to get rid of unwanted pounds if you cannot eat what you really want..." This is specially true to me who loves foods loaded with carbo. Good thing, the recipes in the book were easy to follow, prepare and cook. I tried on the Radishes and Asparagus with Mint, which initially sounded spicy to me, but the subtle sweetness of fresh asparagus captivated me. I also loved the meat and vegetable dishes, but the one thing that surprised me were the desert recipes. I never thought carb cycling would be this sweet!

The book also come with a diet plan which I used as a guide in my daily menu. I loved how the author also explained how having a cheat day might cause a setback in my carb-cycling program. But overall, I am definitely pleased with all the information contained herein. Now, I can say, doing a weight loss program like carb cycling can be a breeze.

It seems one of the most popular diets that works is carb cycling or low carb diet but along with that comes the frustration of finding easy recipes that don’t break the bank. Well look no more! Johnson has written an amazing book that not only has great information for losing weight especially chapter five for creating diet plans, but recipes that are simple and easy not complicated as most are for carb diets and the best part is they are not expensive. He covers soups, meat, vegis and yes even desserts!! So good that even kids will enjoy these tasty meals. I love the baked summer squash and can’t wait to try the cheesecake with chocolate swirls that sounds amazing. But don’t take my word for it, if you are doing the carb cycling diet or even if you are looking for carb concise meals don’t miss this outstanding book that will sure to please any one on a low carb diet.

Losing weight is hard, and often after the diet people gain weight back. The secret of successful weight loss lies in simple mathematics; if one burns more calorie than take them in, one will lose weight. That doesn't mean that the one should not eat at all, on the contrary. When losing weight it is important to eat diverse and healthy food. And low carb diet is a good choice, but then again often we do not have time to invent some new low carb meals. For that reason it is good to have a book like this by your side, and also for that reason I bought it.
Carb Cycling For Weight Loss does not contain many recipes, but it cover all from soup to desserts. What is also good is that they are and not very complicated. Beside recipes the book contain few interesting diet related tips and tricks, and what is the most important diet plan.
So I recommend this book for all of you who want to try a new approach to weight loss - Low Carb Cycling. I hope you will find it good and useful. I did.
