I'm Chris Oakley. I live in Austin, TX and have just begun my career as an author. I am big on fitness and desire to help others become healthy and fit. I am also a HUGE animal lover and I love to ride horses and spend time outdoors.
I never thought of being an author until I was helping a friend of mine when he got a gym membership. He had asked me to work with him to lose some weight and I agreed. I have never been overweight, but have a passion for seeing and helping others lose weight, be fit and make the most of their lives.
One day he said, "You should write a book to help people lose weight." After about a month of "Why should I write a book? Nobody will buy it!" he convinced me to do it. My first book, "Carb Cycling: The Secret Nutrition Plan To Stop The Diet Roller Coaster So You Can Lose Weight For Life" is now on Amazon. I am certain it won't be my last book.

My fault for not realizing this "book" was only 28 pages, but the price was only .99cents so I figured it would be a good deal without checking too many details.

The whole book almost reads like a copy/paste from a website I read the other day - for free. The verbiage is almost exactly the same, which makes me wonder which one is the copy.

The recipes look *okay* but there is hardly any nutrition information along with them.

The book was just kind of a bummer. I wish I had just borrowed it from the Kindle library for free.

I'm actually in a fitness industry, always looking for ways to improve and develop, and this book really surprised me among many that I read. I have a feeling that the author for the first time managed to put a very important piece of physical science into clear understandable and applicable way. Not all of the content was new for me, but some of it was of a great value and shed some new light on my understanding of human metabolism. Will definitely benefit my progress.

This is absolutely a must for everyone wanting to get an excellent tool for changing his body !

I had never heard of carb cycling until I happened across this book. But it is a fascinating subject and this book explains it in a way that is usable by everyone from bodybuilder to athlete to couch potato! The range of recipes was good and included ingredients that are readily available for most. If you're looking to lose some weight but don't want to give up everything you love, look no further than this book.

I liked this book because it is simple and gets right to the point. It also has some recipes to give readers an idea of what to eat. Combine your intellect and imagination and you can make this book work for you.

This is the book you buy if you want to improve your diet and lose some weight and be a better way.
This is a unknown secret to the fitness elite that they use to stay in shape.
I am a fitness nut and this is probably the most straight forward plainly explained way of carb cycling.
I even picked up a few tips also. A great read.
