carbide planer knives for 15" Delta planer,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 15 x 1 x 1/8 Carbide Planer Knives, Delta, Grizzly, Woodtech, etc. (Misc.)
These knives are well worth the money that I spent on them. I have planed 1400+ feet of poplar lumber, three differant planings, with no problems, getting a very smooth planed surface with each planing. I will definatly purchase this product again when I am in the need for additional planer blades. I am very satisfied with this product for this price.

These blades cut very nicely for a little over 1,000 bd feet of mostly cherry and 1/4 sawn red oak... that is to take it from 4/4 to 3/4 inch stock. I am very dissapointed that they are quickly deteriorating now with considerable more tear-out and noise. I could get over 500 bd. feet out of high speed steel, which makes these NOT worth the additional cost.

Have a Grizzly G0551 that I just changed out the orginal blades with Dan's carbide tiped blades. What a relief reduced the noise level by about half!! Knife blades were encased in clear plastic sleeve shrinked covering well...Packed well also.. I've always had good service with Amazon.com
