Twin Rivalry,
By Tangerine (IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Carbon Copy (Paperback)
Dominique has been considered the black sheep of the family, while her identical twin sister Monique has always been placed on a pedestal. Ever since they were kids it's been all about Monique. Both ladies are beautiful divas that are different as night and day but have one thing in common; they are in love with sexy Raphael. He turns his life from ashy to classy and appears to only have eyes for Monique or does he? Dominique is determined to do everything in her power to become Raphael's main squeeze by any means necessary.
In the meantime Dominique gets tangled up with Yuri and his shenanigans in order to keep up with living the glamorous life, which can become deadly. She eventually comes to the realization that she is in way over her head but it just might be too late. Carbon Copy was fast paced and will keep you glued to the very end. I was hooked from the very beginning and felt like i was in the midst of all the drama and twist, it was just that visual. Azaral's writing is on point and has definitely made a name for herself in the literary world. Tangerine Reader's Paradise Book Club

Okay Dominique was one crazzzy chick right. It's amazing what jealousy and lies can get one person into. I was shocked at the level this chick went to to get what and who she wanted. Well when you digging in dirt you are bound to find some buried bones. And boy were there some bones dug up in this pageturner. Again Azarel spins a wonderful tale that was an emotional ride as well. Even though it didn't leave off with a cliffhanger, there is still some unanswered questions and I would enjoy a sequel maybe even a prequel to this story. Well done Azarel.

Identical Twins can love and hate each other,
By Mike Warren (Maryland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Carbon Copy (Paperback)
I read Azarel's Book Carbon Copy in a day or so. It was a serious page turner for me. I always wondered what would happened if one identical twin hated and despise the other and in Carbon Copy, I got just that. Whew, if you wanna see how far a twin will go to get what the other has, this is definitely the book for you. Great job Azarel, I await the sequel!!!!

Identical twins Dominique and Monique Lewis are as different as night and day.Monique is the smart one with the college education and has always been the one to get the most attention.
Dominique is devious and selfish. It's all about money, power and sex to her.Dominique has always been Monique's shadow and she's tired of it.They both share one thing in common and that is Rapheal,Monique's man.Dominique had her eyes on him first but Monique is the one he ended up with. But for Dominique she feels like whatever Monique has, she has to have as well..Dominique devises a plan to get what she wants by any means necessary and she doesn't care how far she has to go to get what she wants. This is my first time reading a book by Azarel and looking at the cover, you know there is bound to be drama. The story did move at a fast pace. When I first started reading it,I thought it was going to be a good read but the more I read it,the more I felt like the story was just okay. What I found annoying was when one chapter ends and another one starts there were gaps in the story and it left me feeling like when did this or that take place? All I can say is Dominique was one crazy chick who loved Raphael so much she would do anything to have him including murder. This was a good book from beginning to end I couldn't put it down. I hope there is a sequal in the making.

Nothing but a Carbon Copy,

Carbon Copy is well developed and full of suspense.
Dominique Lewis is a selfish, controlling, devious beauty. She takes sibling rivalry to the tenth power and runs with it. It's apparent that she's troubled and unbalanced. Although I do believe she is well aware of her many wrongdoings. Dominique's twin, Monique, appears to be the only sane individual in the entire book. She truly loves Dominique and wishes to have a close relationship with her. Subsequently she realizes that her sister desperately (and freakishly) longs for Monique's life. Raphael, Monique's fiancé was weak. He basically used the women he proclaimed to "love and cherish" for personal gain. I didn't find his character attractive in the least. Yet, Dominique went after him with a vengeance. For those who welcome tales of money, sex and murder, this is most definitely the book for you. My rating: 3.5 stars

I loved this book, it is one of my favorites! Dominque wanted to be like her twin sister Monique and she vowed to get there with no limitations. It was a really good book and I highly recommend this one. Dominique wanted everything Monique had including her man. I read this book in a day and was able to visiualize it as I was reading. Im sooo looking forward to more books by Azarel

This book was great. It shows how jealousy can get someone killed. Never in my wildest dream think she would kill her twin. Is there a part 2?

How can two people who look exactly alike be opposite in personality? Meet Monique, the good twin and Dominique, the bad twin. Find out how jealousy, envy and a lifetime of lies can destroy a family. Excellent book, and definitely one that I will be recommending to others.

Carbon Copy.......The cover is better than the book,
This review is from: Carbon Copy (Kindle Edition)
I bought this book awhile back and I am one of those people who has to finish the book. I was half way through and I gave the book away. The story and the situation started to bore me. I know the book is fiction but how dumb are you that you can't tell twins apart. I normally like Azarel's books but this was not a winner.
