Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Carbon Monoxide and Cardiovascular Functions (Hardcover)
This book is an academic treatise containing multiple chapters by different authors, primarily focused on the effects of endogenous carbon monoxide, or that produced by the body itself. The authors discuss multiple mechanism of the production of CO in the body and its role in maintaining various internal functions. There are some chapters relevant to exogenous carbon monoxide, or that inhaled from outside and potentially poisonous when inahled in sufficient quantity or over sufficient time. Chapter on effects of CO on the fetus is most interesting.
