For the "solitaire" player, David Parlett has been collecting and inventing games for more than 20 years and here describes his favorites. 5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive Solitaire Content, January 16, 2000
This review is from: Card Games for One (Teach Yourself) (Paperback)
This is book details and describes many card games that are made for only one player. These range from the well-known Klondike (Solitaire on Windows) to elaborate 3-5 pack games that require hours of complex play.

Don't be scared though...there are plenty of normal, quikc-learning and fun 1 and 2 pack card games. The variety is enormous and dazzling

I highly recommend this book to anyone who even nearly liked Solitaire
