Cricut Creations,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Card Making with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
This book is awesome. I do not have all of the cartridges that are used in this book but the creations in this book make me want to get those cartridges. Some of the cartridges used in this book are Walk in my Garden, Wild Card, wedding, storybook,Plantin Schookbook,Graphically speaking, Indie Art, Home Accents,Doodlecharms, zooballoo.
I hope this helps you to decide to purchase this book. I am very happy with my choice.

Wish There Were More Cards,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Card Making with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
I was so excited to get this book since I just bought my Cricut. The ideas are wonderfully done and they included the names of the catridges that were used for each project as well as where or what supplies were used. As a first of this kind of book for Cricut, it's a nice book to have especially for a beginner like me. I do hope future books will include more cards and specialty paper crafts since Cricut is limitless when it comes to projects. Overall, I enjoyed this book and will more than likely buy the next one.

I thought this book would inspire new ways to use my cricut. Although there are some cute designs inside, there is nothing earthshattering in here. There are directions for 46 cutesy project cards. Each includes what papers and cartridges you need to make the card with specific directions including keystrokes for the cricut. I guess I thought this book would help me figure out new ways to use my cricut special features and inspire me to make my own cricut creations, not just remake their projects. I know this machine is capable of so much more than I currently use it for and would really like to break out of the box. If I had seen this book in a store, I probably wouldn't have bought it. :(

Do not buy- waste of money,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Card Making with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
This book was published to help both the new and experienced Cricut user create new cards using various cartridges. The very first card that I made was the "Birthday Girl" card on page 47. There were 2 errors with regards to the measurements (both relating to Cricut cuts)- The envelope cut at 6" is way too small to fit a gift card (I have not yet experimented with different sizes to determine what the actual size should be), and the circle was not cut from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge (or if it was, it was done on either Design Studio or the Gypsy- which the book failed to report)because the cut straight off the cartridge has a hole in the top- the one in the book was a solid circle.
The editor of this book should have personally created each and everyone of these cards to verify its contents. I am very disappointed because this was quite an expensive book for the poor quality of its contents. Save your money and just join the cricut message board- you can get a lot of free inspiration there!!!

cricut card making book,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Card Making with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
This was a great book. I didn't have all the cartridges they used in making the cards. HOWEVER I check some of my cartridges and they had some of the
same items on cartridges I owned. For instance, they use an ice cream cone and made a cute card. I didn't have that cartridge but on a different cartridge of mine I had the ice cream cone and still got to make the ice cream cone card. I went through my book and wrote out the name of my cartridge which matched up with the item they had. It makes quick and so easy. I LOVED THE BOOK.

This book has got to be the best book for the Cricut machines. It tells you step by step on making cards. I've done a couple of the cards in the book, and have had very little problem constructing them. My only complaint is that this book is not bigger than it its. The dvd with the Expression that I got, is so limited on ideas, that this book makes up for it. This book wins all others hands down. I understand why this book is so popular and why Amazon was out of stock when I purchased it.

I was expecting more from this book. The projects are detailed, which is great, but I thought that there would be many more examples. Again, ok, not sure it's worth the money.

Cricut Cards,

This book has cute ideas for making cards with the Cricut, especially if you are the type of person who needs to see what others are doing to get your creativity sparking! However, the problems I see with it are that you have to have the Cricut cartridges that the cards are made with or be able to borrow them from a friend to make the card. Plus, the papers, embellishments, stamps, inks, etc. that the cards are made with are from all different suppliers. I don't know how readily available these items are if you want to make a card exactly like the one in the book. Therefore, you need to be the type of person that can take the idea and substitute other papers, stamps, and embellishments that go together to make a card you will be happy with.

Too Much "Wild Card",
By Booksandpages "booksandpages" (Chicagoland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Card Making with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
The cards in this book are all beautiful. Its a really fun book to browse through, but you might want to be aware - if you're buying the book with plans to copy the designs rather than to just pull inspiration from them - that 50% of the projects in it require the "Wild Card" cartridge (I counted).
