I like the way these sketch books are set out, with a sketch & then several examples of cards made using the sketch. The Christmas volume has fewer variations than the Birthday or "Cardmakers Sketchbook" volumes & for me, was not as inspiring. If you are not sure which of the 3 to buy, I would go with the blue covered Cardmakers Sketchbook - which is bigger than the other 2 & I would rate as 5 star

This is the second Sketch book I have purchased by the same author. The ideas are exciting and done in a crisp manner. Holidays are always so busy that any help is very welcomed. All of us are happy with new suggestions to keep our cardmaking ideas and techniques fesh.

I really like these sketch books. They show you the basic design and then 2 or 3 ways to use or interpret the design.

My wife bought Tanya Fox's basic Sketch Book awhile back and when she saw the deal on Christmas Celebrations, she wanted it. She likes the multiple examples for each layout, and the fact that each card doesn't have to be 'exactly like' the sketch. She says the finished cards are pretty basic, but by changing out the paper and embellishments it's easy to give them the 'WOW' factor.

I ordered this book before from HSN and received the book with 7 days. I ordered another copy of the book from a Amazon vendor on October 27 and it still hasn't been shipped out. I think it is wrong to advertise that if you order before the 22 that you will get it sooner when there is still outstanding paid orders that have not been filled.
