So I decided to supplement my study by working my way through this book this month. (I'll update my review once I've finished). What I have read so far has been good. I like their sections on MR and coronary CTA, and I appreciate them including multli-modality imaging pictures for the different pathologies.

I have to deduct a star because there is no chapter on nuclear imaging (e.g. PET, SPECT). The second bulleted point on the book's back cover states "Covers the various modalities of MR, CT, PET, and SPECT perfusion in more depth." Well, not so much. The words "single proton emission computed tomography", "positron emission tomography", "PET", and "SPECT" don't even appear in the index. A quick flip through the pictures in the book did not show any nuclear images. I'm not sure how this glaring omission got through, but I'm not sure I would have purchased this book so readily if I knew this was the case.

Also, the table of contents could be better. Yes, the broad chapter categories are there, but I think it would have been helpful for them to include the chapter subheadings in the TOC. Knowing how the chapter is broken up and arranged would help me plan how I study.

Excellent cardiac imaging book for radiologists and cardiologists! A must read for anyone aiming to learn cardiac MR and CT.
