Are you clicking yet? Play dominoes! It isn't just one game, as many people think. There are many games and variations at many skill levels. Domino sets vary in size and complexity, according to the number of dots. This Double Nine set has 55 domino pieces, and each piece has from one to nine color-coded dots at each end, or no dots (blank). The pieces can be used to play 16 different games; instructions for all the games are included. Made of a heavy white, ivory-like plastic, the pieces are 2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and .3 inch thick, and they store neatly in their blue tin. --Richard Farr

The metal storage box is a nice touch.

I love the variety of colors on the dots which really helps me in keeping track of how many numbers have been played.

Great for preschool children to learn how to be patient while playing a game, learn their colors, and numbers.

The colors are not as vibrant as the box making it difficult to see the various colors unless you have a light shining right overhead. My tiles arrived as though they were used and re-wrapped in shrink wrap. They had marks on them as though used and were not clean and smooth as brand new dominoes. I would consider returning them for a better set from a different manufacturer with better color contrast.

I ordered these thinking they would be like the jumbo game I played with. The colors are muted and not vibrant. It would be difficult with any one person who has color sight issues to differentiate from lavender to grey. I acknowledge that the dots are there and you can go by them, but with children, the colors are important.

Several dominoes had marks on the the backs of them, making them identifiable (like many other reviews have said here). I contacted Cardinal regarding this issue, with the specific dominoes with problems, and never heard back from them. I returned this item and will be buying a set from a different manufacturer.

We use this set for a few different kinds of games. This is our "go to" set for two person games of Mexican Train. These tiles are a bit thin, but they do stand up without any help. I certainly can see why some players would prefer to have racks, but the accessories are not critical. The colored pips are helpful. The durable tin case is a good touch. Directions for some different games, and a very basic hub for Trains are usefully included. On sale, this was a good purchase for us.

This product is just OK. The set was complete and it shipped quickly. The only negative I have to say is that the black dye from the dominoes came off and spread on the dominoes. It makes them look dirty.

My family has been playing dominoes for years and I like the compactness and durablity of the tin can. I also recently learned a new game of dominoes and hope to play with a group soon.

I got this set for my 4 year old twin nieces. The colors help with recognizing the dot patterns. The instructions include several different variations of the game, which was interesting for me. The case is a compact, sturdy tin - makes it easy to put the pieces back. I thought the pieces fairly large (in comparison to the small black ones I was used to). The patterns and colors were distinct, and easy to recognize - not blazingly bright colors, but acceptable enough for now. Must have been part of the manufacturing process, but I had to air the set out before we used them - bad burnt plastic smell.

Needed to get a set of dominoes in a hurry for Easter. They are just like the sets I remember playing with 10+ years ago.
