I bought this game on the recommendation of friends, and took it on a three week vacation. We played it frequently and enjoyed it immensely.

The dominos are durable, washable (in mild soap), pleasant to look at and have a nice, solid feel. They come in a metal tin with instructions along with a plastic "train station" for the Mexican Train version of the game.

I ordered this product because my sister told me about getting it on this site. I was REALLY disappointed. The tin was dented when I received it but I could deal with that, what I couldn't deal with was that many dominoes were missing and there were duplicates of some of the dominoes. When I called customer service they were not surprised as there had been other...

We found the instructions didn't cover every single situation. This gave us the chance to make up rules which we found satisfactory. You can research the web to find more about this game.

Our friends brought this set of dominoes to our house for after dinner gaming, and although my husband and I were skeptical at first, we quickly became obsessed with this game! Playing dominoes is more complicated and competitive than simply matching numbers -- this set comes with instructions for several multi-player games as well as solitary games. The dominoes themselves are high quality -- they are made of heavy white plastic, but feel more like ivory, and the colors are bright and distictive. We have since bought these dominoes as gifts for almost everyone we have played with.

We took this set on vacation and aside from playing regular dominoes we also played one of the new games that was suggested in the box. What a blast!

My sister in law also mentioned that my 2 year old nephew also loves playing with these dominoes with her or on his own. He likes to match the colors and is learning to quickly count or identify the dot patterns and their numerical equivalent.

I recommend this game for families or for adults who enjoy getting together to play games.

My roommate and I got hooked playing "train" dominoes, and this is the best set. The dominos are very glossy, colorful and very sturdy, and the set comes with a center piece to keep the starter domino from moving and the domino train in line. I definitely recommend this set.

What a surprise when I opened the box (tin) and found that these dominoes are ceramic. They are just beautiful. Hopefully will be in the family for years and years. Well worth the money.

This was a Christmas gift for my family, and I taught them how to play, based on how I was taught several months ago. Everyone (all ages) LOVED the game! This set is just beautiful, and feels like quality/money in your hands. The dot colors are awesome, and when I had to play on a b&w set the whole game was different. I highly recommend this set, and am ordering several more for myself and friends! The dominoes are very fine. You will enjoy this purchase.

I played my first game of dominos with this set, and I had a blast! The "train" game is very easy to follow. It's a great way to spend some time with a few friends who aren't into trivia games.

My wife and I bought a set of double six dominoes by Cardinal and started playing the standard domino game Muggins. We were happy with the quality of the Cardinal dominoes. We got interested in learning Mexican Train so we picked up this set of double twelves and are very happy with them. They're sturdy and colorful. The only drawback is there are few where colored paint is on the side, but it's really not that noticeable. For the price you can't beat these dominoes.

The Mexican Train instructions are wanting. They are too simplistic and do not explain variations in the game very well. There are numerous sites out there with Mexican Train rules. I suggest http://www.pagat.com/domino/train.html.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
