Good quality, good resemblance of the actual cartoon characters. Fun looking pieces encourage younger kids to learn and play chess instead of the video games and tv all day. Only complaint I would have is for the older adult chess players who are used to traditional two colored board, it's a little hard to get used to all the different colors and shapes of the chess pieces and board which make you have to double check that the piece you're moving is actually yours since they can look a bit similar.
