this book arrived in good condition and in a very timely manner, arriving much sooner than i expected to receive it. after watching the tudors on cable, i became more interested in royal relationships, but this one in particular appealed to me. the dynamic between these two men was incredibly interesting. to see how loyalty and trust were fickle qualities given for a means of survival or even to thrive in a ruthless time can only lead one to the conclusion that these two men could be out in the world today dealing in big business doing what had to be done to stay ahead of the pack and obtain as much power as humanly possible. i would highly recommend this book to anyone who was interested in learning more about this time in history, especially a fan of the tudors.
